Three people were injured in a school bus crash in Boone County on Tuesday morning. The crash was reported just before noon on U.S. 42 near Meadowlake Way. According to reports, the bus driver, an aide and the driver of the other vehicle were injured. Several preschool students onboard were examined at the scene, but none were taken to hospitals. Parents may decide to take their children to be examined at a hospital though. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident was airlifted to UC Medical Center. No names have been released. This is a developing story, check back for further details. In 2013, more than 800 school buses were involved in motor vehicle accidents throughout Kentucky.
