SUV Driver Hits Amish Buggy Killing One And Injuring Three

State Highway Patrol has just released details of a fatal accident involving a drunk male driving an SUV that was speeding and slammed into an Amish buggy being driven by Mr. Eli Byler. The accident took place at approximately 9 pm near Burton in Geauga County on State Road 168 and resulted in the death of 28 year old Mr. Jason Byler who was taken to the Cleveland Hospital and later passed away from his injures. Other passengers in the buggy Jason's father Mr. Eli Byler, refused treatment, yet his mother Mrs. Esther Byler and his 19 year old sister Ms. Alma Bylerwere both taken to hospital for observation and are expected to survive from the ordeal. The 42 year old driver of the Ford Explorer SUV fled the scene only to be detailed by deputies from the Geauga County Sheriff's office after his vehicle became disabled approximately a mile from the accident. While the driver of the SUV is yet to be charged, due to the force of the accident, the buggy was destroyed and the horse pulling the buggy was hit and killed by a second car.
