Local sources have provided details on a serious Cincinnati auto accident that took place near the 2900 block of Gilbert Avenue early on Wednesday morning. According to reports, the 2001 VW Jetta slammed into a utility pole after speeding down the avenue, hitting the object with such force that the engine was ripped from the front of the car. With the vehicle still on fire when emergency teams arrived, Police then scoured the area looking for occupants but were unable to find any.
